Norske myndigheter hadde etterlyst den bulgarske kvinnen internasjonalt i forbindelse med 12 grove ran i Norge.

Meldingen nådde også spansk politi, for den 23 år gamle kvinnen ble arrestert i Fuengirola på Costa del Sol. Pågripelsen skjedde 10. desember etter at hun ble gjenkjent av flere politibetjenter.
